Hannes Portmann

Hannes Portmann brings over 20 years of experience in the mining and resource sectors to his role as Chief Financial Officer of Cadillac Mines. A mining engineer and chartered professional accountant, Mr. Portmann has held senior leadership positions with both private and public companies, including serving as CFO at Cabot Management Company and Marathon Gold, and as President and CEO of New Gold Inc. He currently serves as a director of ATEX Resources and also previously served as a director of SilverCrest Metals until its $1.7 billion sale to Coeur Mining in 2025. At Cadillac Mines, Mr. Portmann is responsible for financial reporting, planning, corporate development and investor relations. He joined the company’s Board of Directors in 2024 and became CFO in July 2025. Mr. Portmann holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University and a Master of Management and Professional Accounting from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
