People and Community Relations Manager

Darian Guimond is People and Community Relations Manager for the Kerr-Addison Project. She plays a key role in supporting the project’s people-focused approach, connecting human resources, workplace culture and community engagement to help build a positive, safe and respectful environment for employees, contractors and local communities. Ms. Guimond brings experience in human resources within the northern Ontario gold mining industry, including previous work with Alamos Gold’s Young-Davidson Mine. Local to the area, she brings a strong understanding of mining communities and what makes them unique. Her work focuses on building trust, supporting open communication and helping ensure that employee and community perspectives are reflected as the Kerr-Addison Project continues to advance. Ms. Guimond holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management from the University of Ottawa and is a Certified Human Resources Professional. Ms. Guimond is pursuing an MBA through Ivey Business School at Western University, with an anticipated completion date of December 2027.
